 Japanese university extends invitation for specialized graduate studiesThe Department of Foreign Affairs announces that Japan's University of Ryukus is again accepting applications for admission to its Special Graduate Program. A letter from the Director of the Graduate School invites interested international students to apply for the University's Specialized Graduate Program in Subtropical Marine and Environmental Engineering and Science Course. The program is for the academic year 2006, which begins on October 1, 2006. Accordingly, the Department urges interested students to submit their applications directly to the University before February 1, 2006. The Department has also indicated the availability of the Japanese Government's Monbusho Scholarship.
