FSM Justices discuss judicial education development plan

Palikir, POHNPEI (FSM Supreme Court/FSM Information Service): April 4, 2006 - From March 28 through 29, Chief Justice Andon L. Amaraich, hosted the Judiciary meeting at the FSM Supreme Court in Palikir where the four Chief Justices of the Federation discussed various options of judicial trainings.

The FSM Judicial Education Development Plan (FSM JEDP) is the FSM Judiciaries ten-year Education Development Plan aimed at the improvement of the Judiciary services in the nation. Primary target for the training include, Justices, Court Officials and staff.

The two days meeting ended with the approval of the FSM JEDP and launched the preparations for the first and second year judicial training for the justices, the court officers and staffs.

Acting Chief Justice Aliska B. Aliksa - Kosrae State Supreme Court
Chief Justice Judah C. Johnny - Pohnpei State Supreme Court
Chief Justice James Gilmar - Yap State Supreme Court
